SO ECO The Ultimate Brush Collection

I am a big fan of sustainable and biodegradable materials and when I came across a complete solution for my make-up looks I could not stop raving about it: a complete 9 piece brush set to achieve a perfect base and create amazing eye make-up too. I simply love the feel of their bamboo handles, the softness of Taklon bristles. Another smart thing about them: they can be kept dust-free by storing them in their own natural cotton brush wrap!

What’s more, you also get 2 sponges to perfect your base and blend all creamy products together.

Highly recommend this set, especially if you want to support a cruelty-free, vegan and sustainable brand.

The Grass Roots® Derma Roller

I was always a bit reluctant about needles so this derma rolling haze that became so popular during the lockdown. I kept reading and documenting myself about this amazing procedure that promises a visible difference when it comes to diminishing wrinkles and acne scars.

When using a derma roller, the microneedles create microscopic holes into the skin so that the serums you use will penetrate deeper into the skin and become more effective.

Another fact about derma rolling: it increases the production of collagen and elastin to encourage fewer fine lines, firmer skin, a more even texture.

Suitable for use on the face, neck and décolleté and all skin types, the roller works to stimulate circulation and improve elasticity for a firmer and more youthful-looking facial contour.

After making sure I am using it safely and followed all the steps, like cleansing my skin, applying serum, I used The Grass Roots® Derma Roller for the first time and although it took me 2 weeks to notice results, it does work! If you use it at home, the 0.3 or 0.5 mm depth are safe to use. Make sure you sanitize it for each use, dipping it in 75% isopropyl alcohol for five minutes and do not apply too much pressure while using it.

Always keep it in its own sterile case and don’t use it if you have acne on your face.

Skin Ultimate by Advanced Nutrition Programme

How is your wellness regime going? Mine focuses on hydrating and nourishing my skin, hair and nails from the inside out. The ‘beauty from within’ supplements as I like to call them are my newest find I would love to share with you.

I have been using them for over 6 weeks now and my skin texture and elasticity do show visible improvements, even for my trained eye.

Each pod features a daily dose of the following smart supplements with super ingredients like Vit A, Omega 3 fatty acids, Omega 6 fatty acids,  phytonutrients (green tea, grape seed, Betacarotene, turmeric root, bilberry fruit, lutein, lycopene).

In terms of packaging, I also love the tear-off beauty pods because of their practicality and neat look.

Our busy lifestyles can make it difficult to ensure you’re getting all the vitamins and minerals that you need and this is why I would highly recommend considering them a pampering treat.

Suitable for vegans; cruelty-free. Recyclable packaging.

DetoxifEYE Eye Patches by PIXI

I have been obsessed with these eye patches for over a year now and keep repurchasing because they do work miracles on my puffy eyes.

There are a lot of pros to this from the anti-waste packaging to the actual brightening and replenishing effect, the fact that they do not slip on the skin – I love everything about them. Key ingredients like cucumber, aloe vera and hyaluronic extract help hydrate the delicate eye area. As part of your wellness regime, consider keeping it the fridge for extra cooling and this way enjoy a true spa experience.

Bonus points for using the patches while doing your eye make-up, it will save your skin from any fallout from using eyeshadow.

Recyclable and cruelty-free, what’s there more to say?
