British Chamber of Commerce PH Brings Together Gin Artisans For World Gin Day 2023

June 17 2023 — From its days as a former distilling liquid used to create medical tonics, Gin in modern times is now being celebrated for its longevity in the FnB world for its time in the global spotlight.  The British Chamber of Commerce unites 17 of the United Kingdom’s rising and award-winning Gin brands in Manila, Philippines, on June 22, 2023, at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Manila, Philippines.

Having a Gin and Tonic / GnT or Negroni Spagliato is quintessential for an evening night out or an after work drink and on this special event Gin enthusiasts have an opportunity to join for an exciting evening from 6 pm to 10 pm and get a chance to win exciting prizes and sample celebrated UK gins! World Gin Day by British Chamber Of Commerce PH highlights the talents and skills of the best bartenders in the city in the 5th BCCP Bartending Competition.

UK brands participating are ChatsWorth Gin, Smeaton Gin, Scottish gin Roehill Springs, Brighton Gin and more, all distinguished and craft gin brands that has been making waves in the industry with its exceptional quality and unique flavour profiles.

Another noteworthy brand coming up in its showcase is the House of Elrick Gin, an established brand from the idyllic lowlands of the Aberdeenshire countryside in Scotland during the 1700’s.  The founding partners were inspired  by the radical shift against the ‘norm’ and since then Elrick House became a haven for artists, poets and writers, who gathered to discuss their philosophies, fuelled by a glass of London dry gin.
