Fresh off the heels of debuting a funky sustainable fashion collection at New York Fashion Week last month in downtown Manhattan with Art Hearts a fashion, Love For Upcycling is thrilled to bring another fabulous sustainable men’s & women’s collection to California while hosting and promoting a fundraiser and social campaign that encourages humans to make their fashion choices smarter and recyclable. Under the slogan “fashion with a purpose,” these two leading fashion companies are coming together to promote social awareness and sustainability in LA.
Love For Upcycling’s founder and lead designer, Jose Alexzander, has been working in the upcycling and sustainable fashion realm for more than three decades and is excited to bring a new collection to the West Coast while working for a special charitable cause. “We’ve put out a special call to all attendees and models who participate in the castings to donate clothes and shoes to our recycling program this week during LAFW. Attendees are encouraged to bring in clothes to the Majestic in Downtown LA from October 18th to 22nd,” Alexander said.
The clothing donations received during LA Fashion Week’s four day fashion event extravaganza will be directly delivered to unhoused individuals in Los Angeles on Skid Row immediately by the Love for Upcycling team on October 23-28, 2023.
