Together, they continue to build bridges across the globe.

BTMag: Oana, thank you for joining us today. Can you share a bit about your background and what led you to pursue a career in the events and entertainment industry?
Oana Irimia: My journey began at ASE, one of the most prestigious universities in Bucharest, where I graduated with a master’s degree in communication and public relations. Since my school days, I’ve always been passionate about the entertainment field. I found joy in organizing events and connecting with people, which ultimately shaped my career path. I realized early on that my calling was to create memorable experiences and facilitate connections among individuals. My enthusiasm for the entertainment industry was further fueled by my desire to create spaces where people could share their stories and ideas.
BTMag: You founded Luxury Events 14 years ago. What inspired you to start your own company, and what were some challenges you faced in the beginning?
Oana Irimia: The inspiration came from my desire to bring people together and create unforgettable moments. Starting Luxury Events was a significant leap for me, and, like any entrepreneurial journey, it came with challenges. Initially, it was about building a reputation and a reliable network. I had to learn the ropes of business management and event planning from scratch, often working long hours and making sacrifices. The most challenging part was understanding the nuances of client expectations and ensuring that every event was a unique experience. However, my passion for creating connections and unforgettable moments kept me motivated.
BTMag: You later rebranded your company to I Success. What motivated that change, and how did it impact your business?
Oana Irimia: Even though Luxury Events was a powerful brand in the local market, having hosted many events with international celebrities such as Bai Ling, Kristanna Loken, Costas Mandylor, Stanislav Yanevski, and many others, the name was too basic and did not represent my vision. I was searching for a name that encapsulated what everyone aspires to achieve: success. The rebranding to I Success represented a broader vision. I wanted to move beyond just organizing events; I aimed to empower individuals and businesses to achieve their highest potential. This shift allowed us to focus on personal and professional growth through global events. Today, I Success is recognized for producing high-profile events that celebrate and promote entrepreneurs, influencers, and celebrities. We’ve welcomed notable figures such as Vincent de Paul, Farhana Bodi, Lojain Omran, and many others. Each event is designed to foster networking and collaboration, creating a rich environment for growth and inspiration.
BTMag: Five years ago, you took I Success global. What were some key milestones during this expansion?
Oana Irimia: Expanding globally was both exciting and challenging. Some key milestones included establishing partnerships with international organizations, launching events in cities like Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Venice, Monaco, and Cannes, and collaborating with major festivals and events such as Fashion Weeks and Film Festivals. We also successfully integrated high-profile guests, including the Gipsy Kings and various Hollywood personalities, into our eventsEach gathering became a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, significantly enriching our brand and helping to create a robust network.
BTMag: Balancing work and family can be tough. How do you manage being a CEO and a mother of two sons?
Oana Irimia: It’s definitely a balancing act! My husband, Eduard Irimia, and I support each other in our careers and family life. We communicate openly about our schedules and responsibilities, ensuring we prioritize family time. I believe that being a role model for my children means showing them the importance of pursuing one’s passions while also cherishing moments together. I also emphasize the value of hard work and determination to them, hoping to inspire them to follow their dreams.
BTMag: Can you tell us about your latest venture, The Feelionaire? What is the vision behind it?
Oana Irimia: The Feelionaire is a global concept that aims to connect valuable individuals and foster a sense of community. The idea for The Feelionaire emerged from the realization that you don’t always need to own things to feel fulfilled; sometimes, the essence of feeling successful and connected is enough. We want to create a space where members can engage in high-level networking and attend exclusive events worldwide. Together with I Success, we aim to develop a strong community that understands the power of networking, enabling members to elevate their businesses and offer unforgettable experiences to one another.
BTMag: How do I Success and The Feelionaire complement each other?
Oana Irimia: The synergy between I Success and The Feelionaire is remarkable. While The Feelionaire creates a vibrant community and offers enriching experiences, I Success promotes and showcases the achievements of entrepreneurs on a global stage. This fusion allows us to leave a legacy for our children and empower individuals to reach their fullest potential. At our events, members not only network with high-profile individuals but also gain insights and inspiration from successful entrepreneurs. This dual focus on community building and recognition creates an ecosystem where everyone can thrive. It’s about setting the stage for success while fostering a supportive environment.
